Here's a fun and festive little cranberry cocktail to get you in the holiday spirit. Super refreshing with just the right amount of tartness. I love cranberries in any form, but a cranberry cocktail is one of my favorites. This cranberry clementine amaretto crush is balanced with the sweetness of clementines, the tang of both cranberry and lime, and the smooth sweetness of amaretto. Pour it over crushed ice into your prettiest glasses and sip it all through the season.

This cranberry clementine amaretto crush is essentially an amaretto sour all dressed up for Christmas. When I first had the idea for this cocktail I don't think I imagined how truly delicious it would be. My husband and I decided it tastes like a combination of fruit punch and skittles. But with plenty of tartness. It is just so balanced and refreshing and I think it might just be my new favorite drink! It's a real crowd pleaser, that's for sure.

What goes into this Cranberry Clementine Amaretto Crush?

  • Cranberry Juice - I prefer to use 100% juice not cranberry juice cocktail
  • Vodka - use the good stuff; I recommend Grey Goose
  • Amaretto - again, the good stuff; I recommend Disaronno
  • Fresh clementine juice
  • Fresh lime juice

I can't stress enough that using the highest quality, freshest ingredients makes a world of difference in all recipes - sweet, savory, and cocktails. Investing in a few premium bottles of booze will take your cocktails to new heights, I promise.

And some fancy glasses never hurt either - the glasses pictured here are the Anthropologie Gilded Rim Stemless Wine Glasses and I absolutely adore them!

I hope you'll give this fruity, festive cranberry cocktail a try. This is a really easy one to make a big batch of and serve punch style. Enjoy responsibly and have the happiest holiday season! xo - Anita

And for some savory nibbles to go with:

  • Pink Peppercorn Baked Chicken Wings with Pecorino & Rosemary
  • Brown Butter Rosemary Shrimp Skewers
  • Mini Pesto & Cheese Calzones
  • Spicy Salmon Sushi Rolls
  • Pull Apart Lobster Sliders
