Ingredients
10 fresh mint leaves
1/2 fresh lime, cut into wedges
1 tablespoon white granulated sugar
1/4 cup fresh mulberries
1.5 ounces white rum
1/2 cup club soda
lime wedges, fresh mint, and mulberries for garnish
Instructions
- Add lime wedges, sugar, and mint to the bottom of a highball glass and muddle very well to release the lime juice, bruise the mint, and dissolve the sugar. You can use a muddler, the end of a french rolling pin, or the handle of a wooden spoon.
- Next add mulberries and muddle again to release their juices.
- Add rum and ice and top off with club soda. Garnish with fresh mint, fresh mulberries, and lime wedges.
Notes
make this a mocktail simply by omitting the rum and adding a bit more lime juice if desired.
